Overview

Set up your restaurant in NinoPOS to manage tables, menus, kitchen operations, and billing. This guide walks you through the initial configuration for a fully operational restaurant module.

Step-by-Step Guide

Enable Restaurant Module

Go to Settings → Company and set your business type to Restaurant. The restaurant features will be unlocked in your dashboard.

Create Dining Areas

Navigate to Restaurant → Areas and create areas like Main Hall, Terrace, VIP, etc.

Add Tables

Go to Restaurant → Tables and add tables for each area. Assign table numbers, seat counts, and QR codes.

Build Your Menu

Navigate to Restaurant → Menu. Create categories (Starters, Mains, Desserts) and add menu items with prices, modifiers, and kitchen stations.

Configure Kitchen Display

Set up the Kitchen Display System (KDS) in Restaurant → Kitchen. Assign printers or screens to stations (Grill, Cold, Bar).

Set Tax & Service Charge

Go to Restaurant → Settings to configure VAT, service charges, and tipping options.

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: Use the QR Code feature so guests can scan and order directly from their tables.
Tip: Set up different menu schedules (breakfast, lunch, dinner) to show only relevant items at each time.
