Frequently asked questions

Specific to food truck operations.

What happens if my internet drops mid-shift?

If your connection drops while the POS is open, ninoPOS keeps working — you can sell, print receipts, and accept cash, with sales saved on the device and synced automatically when you reconnect (no duplicates). Card and M-Pesa need connectivity in the moment, and you do need internet to first open the app each day.

What hardware do I need?

An Android tablet or iPad, a Bluetooth thermal printer, optionally a Bluetooth barcode scanner, and a card terminal if you want card payments.

Can I see which events were actually worth it?

Yes. Tag a shift with a pitch or event name, and reports break down revenue, stock used, and top sellers per event.
