Customizing POS Receipts
Overview
Brand your printed and emailed receipts with your logo, address, tax IDs, return policy, and custom footer message. Configure once per store; applies to all sales going forward.
Step-by-Step Guide
1
Open Receipt Settings
Settings → Receipts & Printing.
2
Upload Logo
A monochrome PNG or SVG works best on thermal printers. Color logos work for A4/email receipts.
3
Header Block
Business name, address, phone, email, TIN/VRN (for Tanzania) or KRA PIN (for Kenya).
4
Footer Block
Thank-you message, return policy summary, social handles, QR code to your storefront.
5
Preview
The right panel shows a live preview as you edit. Toggle between 80mm thermal, 58mm thermal, A4, and email format.
6
Save & Print Test
Save, then run a test sale through the POS to confirm the receipt prints correctly on your hardware.
Tips & Best Practices
Tip: For thermal printers, keep the logo under 200px wide — wider logos waste paper and may distort.
Tip: For Tanzania businesses, the TRA fiscal receipt format is handled separately under Compliance → TRA.
