Overview

NinoPOS works as an installable PWA (Progressive Web App) on Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS. No app store needed — just a one-tap install from the browser.

Step-by-Step Guide

Open in Browser

Visit your NinoPOS URL on the device's browser (Chrome / Safari).

Look for Install Prompt

A bottom banner says "Install NinoPOS" or a browser menu item appears: "Install / Add to Home Screen".

Install

Tap install. The app icon lands on the home screen / launcher.

Open from Icon

Launching from the icon opens NinoPOS in standalone mode — no browser chrome, looks like a native app.

Offline Ready

After first open, the app caches enough to run offline. POS sales work without internet and sync when reconnected.

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: On iPhone, the install option is in Safari's Share menu → Add to Home Screen. (Chrome on iOS goes through the share menu too.)
Tip: On Android Chrome, the install banner is automatic; if dismissed, the three-dot menu has "Install app".
