Step-by-Step Guide

Define Rooms

Hotel → Rooms. Per room: number, floor, type (Standard/Deluxe/Suite), occupancy, view, amenities.

Rate Plans

Per room type: Standard rate, Weekend rate, Holiday rate, Corporate rate. System picks the right rate based on the booking date + customer tag.

Taxes + Service Charges

Hotel-specific tax (often 18% VAT in TZ, plus 1.5% TLA for tourism-licensed properties). Configure once; auto-applies to every folio.

Housekeeping Status

Configure status flow (Dirty → Cleaning → Inspected → Available). Housekeeping marks status from a phone-friendly view.

Channel Manager

Optional: connect Booking.com / Expedia via Channel Manager integration so room availability syncs across channels in real time.

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: Set up "shadow rooms" for offline/maintenance days — block dates without confusing the inventory count.
