Step-by-Step Guide

Upload

Documents → Upload. Drag-and-drop PDFs, images, Office docs. Multiple files at once OK.

Tag + Categorize

Pick category (Contracts / Tax / HR / Compliance / Other). Add free-form tags for findability.

Link

Optional: link the document to a Client / Supplier / Employee / Invoice. Appears on that entity's record under "Documents".

Search

Full-text search across filenames + tags + (for PDFs and Office docs) extracted text content. Find that supplier contract from 2 years ago in 5 seconds.

Permissions

Per category permissions: HR documents visible only to HR role; contracts visible only to owners + accountants.

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: Photograph every supplier delivery note on receipt — link to the matching GRN. Settles "we didn't deliver that quantity" disputes 6 months later with zero arguing.
