Barcode Printing

Overview

Print barcode labels for products that don't come pre-labelled. Supports continuous label paper (Brother / Zebra / generic thermal) and standard A4 sticker sheets.

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Pick Label Format

Products → Print Labels. Choose label size (40×30mm, 50×25mm, etc.) and template (barcode + name + price, or barcode-only).

2

Select Products

Bulk-select from the products list. Choose quantity per product (usually 1 per unit on hand).

3

Preview

The preview shows exactly how the label sheet/roll will render. Catches misalignment before wasting paper.

4

Print

Click Print. For thermal printers, use the standard browser print dialog; for A4 sticker sheets, ensure the layout matches your sheet pattern (e.g. Avery template).

Tips & Best Practices

Tip: For high-volume tagging at goods-in, print labels when receiving stock (GRN) — fewer untagged items reach the floor.
Tip: A Brother QL-820NWB at ~TZS 280k pays for itself the first time a customer disputes a price; printed labels make the on-shelf price authoritative.
